Ca. 1920 Lyon and Healy American Conservatory Tenor Banjo

Sale price$495.00

A beautiful tenor banjo that has recently celebrated its 100th birthday. This US made (Chicago), open back tenor banjo comes to us in very good, very playable although some deep grooves in the fretboard in the first position. The back edge of the tone ring shows a bit of wear and discoloration but is completely structurally sound. This particular instrument is featured prominently on the album "The Thicket" by David Grubbs.
